Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident Sunday in Linn County. A press release from the Linn County Sheriff’s Department states that at about 3:10 PM, deputies and emergency crews responded to a personal injury accident at the intersection of Highway 13 and County Home Road. According to the release, a Chevy Impala driven by 63-year-old Judith Studt of Springville collided with a Chevy Malibu driven by 24-year-old Seth Lafollette of Des Moines in the intersection. Studt was taken by Area Ambulance to St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. Lafollette was taken by Area Ambulance to Mercy ER in Marion with minor injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
