Central City Parks and Rec, along with their local sponsors present a family fun and movie night on Friday, May 15th at Veterans Memorial Park in Central City. The movie IF, Imaginary Friends will be shown around dusk. There will also be food trucks, ice cream and popcorn. Admission is free.
The James Kennedy Public Library in Dyersville will be holding a plant sale on Saturday, May 16th from 9-11am in the parking lot, adjacent to the library. You can also donate plants for the sale. Plants of all kinds are welcome. Also, the James Kennedy Public Library presents another movie at the library. The movie Anaconda will be shown on Saturday, May 16th beginning at 1pm. This is rated PG-13.
The 16th annual Outrun The Rays takes place on Saturday, May 16th. The kids half mile fun run begins at 8:45am from the Peosta Community Center, followed by the The 5K run/walk beginning at 9:15am. The Dyersville Sportsmens Club will be hosting their spring 3D bow shoot on Saturday, May 16th and Sunday, May 17th from 7am-1pm. 40 targets will be featured, and concessions will be available.

The Cedar Valley Street Rods present the 39th annual Cruisin' For Camp Courageous on Sunday, May 17th from 10am-4pm at Camp Courageous in Monticello. This is one of Iowa's largest charity car shows, plus trucks, motorcycles, and other vehicles, everything is welcome. Awards will be given away. Pre registration is just $15, or $20 the day of the show. The day will also feature a huge live and silent auction, fun and games for the kids, train rides, and much more. Come play some bingo in Earlville. The Earlville Community Bingo Night takes place on Monday, May 18th at the Earlville Community Center. Doors open at 5:30, with bingo starting at 6pm. Cash and door prizes will be given away.

Screenings are free, fast, and confidential. No appointment is needed.
