The Ryan Legion welcomes you and your family to their annual sweet corn boil on Friday, August 7th at the Ryan Legion. They will also be grilling up burgers and brats. Free will donations will be accepted.

The Country Cruisers Car Club welcomes you to their show n shine and cruise. The show n shine will be Friday, August 7th on South Franklin St. in Manchester. Registration begins at 5pm, with trophies awarded at 8pm in a number of classes. The big cruise will be on Saturday, August 8th. Line up will begin at 1pm at Quik N Handi, Hwy 13. Holy Cross will celebrate their 25th annual Parade, Auction, and Street Dance on Saturday, August 8th in Holy Cross. The big parade kicks off at noon, followed by a huge live auction on Main St, with proceeds to benefit the Holy Cross/North Buena Vista Fire Dept. The day will also feature lots of fun and inflatables for the kids, and plenty of food and refreshments. The street dance will be from 7-11pm with live music from Vice Box.
The Hopkinton Lion's Club welcomes you to their annual pork chop feed and corn boil on Saturday, August 8th serving from 4:30-7pm at the Hopkinton Community Center. Dine in, or carryouts available on the back side of the community center.
The 5th annual Tim Anderson Memorial Golf Event takes place on Saturday, August 8th at Pin Oak Golf and Event Center in Manchester. The golf tournament is full, but be sure to come enjoy the social and silent auction beginning at 4pm, along with Moski's food truck. Also, in conjunction with the golf event, there will be a big 2 person cornhole tournament that day from 10:30am-4pm. Entry fee is $50 per team, and you can register that day. The New Vienna Area Historical Society welcomes you and your family to the Heritage House Mueum's Heritage Day on Sunday, August 9th from 11am-3pm. This is located in New Vienna, across from St. Boniface Church. The day will feature a quilt show, antique machinery display, car show, lots of kid's activities and fun, rope making, corn shelling and more, plus lots of food and refreshments.
