Two people are dead and five are injured after a two-vehicle collision Saturday night near Worthington. According to a news release from the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office, at about 9:20, deputies and emergency crews responded to the intersection of East Worthington Road and Comer Road for a car vs. UTV accident with multiple people involved. One person, a ten-year-old juvenile, was declared dead at the scene. Six people were transported to the hospital, all with serious to life threatening injuries. One of those transported, 33-year-old Joshua Tack of Union, Iowa, was declared dead at the hospital. The names of the other injured individuals are being withheld at this time. The accident remains under investigation.
