The “Bring It Home” campaign recognized legacy donors during a ceremony at the Field of Dreams Movie Site on Thursday. The event recognized three Iowa families that collectively donated 10-million dollars to the organization's Bring it Home campaign. Those recognized as legacy partners include, Andy and Debi Butler, Craig and Lisa Breibach and the McCoy Group. The families along with Musco Lighting were recognized with large commemorative panels that will be on display at the professional field. Governor Kim Reynolds was on hand to provide remarks highlighting the statewide significance of the project and its role in supporting tourism, economic development, and community growth across Iowa. The governor had a surprise announcement as well.
The Bring it Home campaign supports construction of the new professional ballpark, youth tournament facilities, educational and event spaces, infrastructure improvements and preservation of the original movie site.
