The men’s NCAA Division 1 Wrestling Championships concluded Saturday night. Penn State won the team title with 177 points, followed by Nebraska with 117. Oklahoma State was third with 102.5 points, Iowa took fourth with 81, and Minnesota tied with Ohio State for fifth place at 51.5 points. Northern Iowa took ninth place, scoring 45.5 points, and Iowa State was 27th in the team standings with 18 points.

The National Wrestling Coaches Association honored Northern Iowa’s Doug Schwab as the NCAA Division I Men's National Coach of the Year. This award is selected by coaching peers and recognizes exceptional leadership, competitive excellence, and contributions to the campus community.
