A Sherrill Teen was injured in crash near Epworth Thursday morning. At about 7:10 AM the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office and Epworth Fire and EMS responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Gun Club Road, about ½ mile north of Epworth. A news release states that a 16 year old male from Sherrill was southbound on Gun Club Road when he crossed into oncoming traffic and struck the trailer of a vehicle being towed by 48-year-old Ryan Schockemoehl of Cascade. Schockemoehl was uninjured in the accident and the 16 year old male had suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital Dubuque. The 16 year old male was cited for Failure to Maintain Control.
