A rural Peosta woman was arrested after her child showed up to school high on THC gummies. Court documents state a middle-school aged child of 58-year-old Dorothy Bradley was observed by a Dubuque school resource officer to be "impaired by drugs" due to her calm demeanor and droopy eyelids. The child admitted to feeling "high" and knew what it felt like due to having previously taken THC gummies with an adult other than Bradley. The child then admitted to the school nurse she took three of Bradley's THC gummies. Bradley later admitted to having THC gummies sitting on a TV stand and that the child found them. According to court documents, each gummy contained 10 mg of THC. Bradley was arrested Thursday at her residence on charges of possession of marijuana and child endangerment.
