A Peosta home is considered a total loss after a fire early Sunday morning. A news release states that just before 3 AM, the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office, along with Centralia/Peosta, Epworth, Asbury and Farley Fire departments, responded to a structure fire at 10764 Cedar Ridge Court. The residence was fully engulfed when crews arrived. The occupants were able to safely exit. The residence is considered a total loss with an estimated $500,000 in damage. The release says the cause of the fire is unknown, but does not appear to be suspicious in nature.
