Peosta City Council to Vote on Data Center Moratorium Extension

City leaders in Peosta plan to extend their moratorium on data center development by six months. That is a step Peosta City Council members said is necessary to move the city’s data center ordinance forward. A vote on the moratorium extension is expected this month. At a packed work session Wednesday, city leaders also agreed to hire a consultant to help “construct” their regulations.
