One person was injured when his vehicle rear-ended a tanker truck in Cascade. A Dubuque County sheriff’s department crash report states that 48-year-old Seth Ettleman of Vinton was traveling north on U.S. 151 approaching North Cascade Road in Cascade at approximately 10:15 a.m. April 30th, when he rear-ended a tanker truck. The tanker, driven by 46-year-old Adam Einsweiler of Galena, was driving at approximately 35 mph in the left lane and preparing to turn left onto North Cascade Road at the time of the collision. Ettleman was transported by ambulance to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Ettleman was charged with following too close.
