The driver of a UTV is facing several charges after a passenger was severely injured in a rollover accident in Linn County Saturday. A news release from the Linn County Sheriff's department states that at about 7:35 PM, Linn County Deputies and emergency crews responded to a personal injury motor vehicle accident at 3869 North Center Point Road, South of Center Point. The release states that a 2025 Polaris UTV driven by 60-year-old Danny Perrin, of Center Point had rolled in a field. Perrin and one passenger, 60-year-old Terri Perrin, also of Center Point, were uninjured. A second passenger, 63-year-old John Dedic of Garber was taken by Lifeguard Air Ambulance to University of Iowa Hospitals, where he remains in serious condition. Danny Perrin was arrested and charged with Operating While Intoxicate 2nd Offense, Reckless Driving, and Serious Injury by Vehicle. Terri Perrin was also arrested and charged with Operating While Intoxicated 1st Offense. The accident remains under investigation.
