A driver was injured in a single-vehicle accident South of Springville Sunday. According to a news release, Linn County Deputies and rescue crews responded to a single-vehicle crash in the 1700 block of Springville Road. The release states that A Pontiac Torrent was traveling southbound on Springville Road when the had a medical event, lost control, and traveled through the east ditch before striking landscaping pillars. The driver was transported to St Lukes Hospital by Mount Vernon-Lisbon Ambulance for what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. The driver was cited for No Iowa Driver’s License, Failure to Maintain Control and No Insurance.
