One person was injured after an ATV accident occured on Sunday evening. According to a news release, just after 5:30 PM, the Linn County Sheriff's department and Rescue 57, Mount Vernon-Lisbon Police, Martelle Fire, and Lisbon-Mount Vernon Ambulance responded to a call at 409 Goudy Road for an individaual with a broken leg after being involved in an ATV accident. First responders identified the injured person as 51 year old Kent Fisher of Mount Vernon. He was transported to the hospital via ambulance. Another passenger, 34 year old Katherine Stark of Central City, was unharmed. The news release states the ATV was entering a field drive near Goudy Rd and Linn Grove Rd, when it turned over, causing the injury to Fisher. There were no charges related to the incident.
