One person is dead after a single vehicle accident in Linn County Thursday morning. According to a news release from the Linn County Sheriff's Office, at about 8:55 AM, Deputies and emergency crews were dispatched to a single-vehicle accident at Highways 30 and 13. According to the release, a male driving a Chevy Camaro failed to negotiate the exit on Highway 30 East Bound to Highway 13 northbound. The driver was found near the car in the south ditch of Highway 30, where he was pronounced dead. The accident remains under investigation by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office. The identity of the driver is being withheld, pending notification of family.
