A Monticello man was injured in a Dubuque County crash. A news release from the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department 21-year-old Brendan Koppes of Monticello was traveling on Molony Road at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday when his vehicle failed to a stop at a stop sign at the intersection with Higginsport Road. Koppes’ vehicle left the roadway and traveled approximately 100 feet into a farm field. Koppes was transported by ambulance to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
