A Marion man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle accident early this (Wednesday) morning on Highway 13. A news release says Linn County Sheriff’s Deputies and emergency crews responded at about 12:10 AM to a report of a vehicle that had rolled on Highway 13 northbound just south of Martin Creek Road. The release says20-year-old Abdi Hamisi, of Marion, had lost control of his Toyota Matrix and rolled into the bean field east of Highway 13. Hamisi was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. No other passengers were located and Traffic charges are pending.
