Manchester Woman Injured in Collision with Deer near Earlville

A Manchester woman was injured in a collision with a deer near Earlville. According to a crash report from the Delaware County Sheriff’s Department, 61-year-old Pamela Carrillo of Manchester was driving east on U.S. 20 near Earlville at about 5:30 Monday morning, when a deer ran into the roadway and collided with Carrillo’s vehicle. Carrillo suffered chest and knee pain from airbag deployment and was transported by ambulance to Regional Medical Center for treatment. According to the report, damage to Carillo's vehicle is estimated at $8,000.
