John Deere Calling More Employees Back to Work in Dubuque

John Deere is calling more employees back to work in Dubuque as financial projections improve. The company will return 27 additional employees to its Dubuque Works facility in March to support construction and forestry operations. John Deere anticipates additional callbacks throughout the rest of the fiscal year. A news release states that customer demand has continued to strengthen, driving increased production. During a quarterly earnings report Thursday, company officials shared an increase in projected net income for fiscal year 2026, even as they reported $656 million in net income for the recently completed first quarter, down 25% from the same quarter in fiscal year 2025. However, the company also reported a 13% increase in net sales and revenues during the quarter that ended February 1.
