The Iowa High School Athletic Association announced Tuesday that the Boys State Basketball Tournament will move to Hilton Coliseum in Ames starting in 2027. The two sides have reached an initial 5-year agreement for ISU to host the five-day tournament. Ames previously was host for the state tournament six times between 1917 and 1926.
