Cascade's interim city administrator will become full time. At Monday’s Cascade City Council meeting. the interim city administrator, Deanna McCusker, announced that she would accept the role of full-time city administrator beginning next month. McCusker returned to Cascade in September after being the city administrator in Washington from 2022 to 2024, and was the city administrator for Cascade from 2014 to 2022. She replaced former City Administrator Lisa Kotter, who took over after McCusker left for the position in Washington. Kotter left the city to take a similar position in Red Oak. After the other City Council members approve the application, she will be properly sworn in as the new city administrator at the next City Council meeting on Feb. 24 at City Hall.
