The teenager killed in a Dubuque shooting this week has been identified. Dubuque Police Department officials say 16-year-old Jakory McMillian of Dubuque, died of a gunshot wound Monday night. Officers responded around 10 p.m. Monday to the area of West Locust and Foye streets for a report of a shooitng. Upon arrival, officers found McMillian suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers provided medical aid until first responders arrived and transported McMillian to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. An earlier news release incorrectly stated McMillian's age as 15. Police continue to investigate the incident.
