Road work at a Highway 20 intersection in Peosta will change access for some local drivers. According to a social media post from the city of Peosta, effective Thursday, Cox Springs Road at its intersection with Adrina and Thunder Valley drives was closed to all southbound traffic toward Highway 20. The announcement states crews will work on a deceleration lane construction project. By midday today, the existing U.S. 20/Cox Springs Road deceleration lane and median access will also be closed. The projected completion date for the project is November 13. All motorists are asked to use Thunder Hills Road or the Sundown Road overpass as detours.
