The Dyersville Campaign for Grade-Level Reading will host an event to help students prepare for the start of school.Dyersville GLR is hosting a free Kick Off to School Event on Thursday, August 13th from 6-7:30PM at the James Kennedy Public Library. A news release from the organization says all elementary-aged students and their families are welcome to attend. A free meal will be provided, as well as books, ice cream, resources and materials about upcoming Dyersville GLR events that will be tailored to engaged families with programs and resources at the library throughout the year. Registration is encouraged to plan accordingly for food, and a direct link can also be found on the Dyersville GLR Facebook page.
