Dubuque Firefighters are investigating a suspicious fire that damaged a building at Comiskey Park Monday morning. The Dubuque Fire Department responded around 9:25 a.m. to a fire alarm at Comiskey Park. When crews arrived, firefighters reported smelling smoke inside the building and later saw light white smoke coming from the roof eaves. Crews then discovered heavy smoke and fire coming from a bathroom area. Firefighters brought the fire under control around 9:45 a.m. and confirmed the fire had not spread beyond the bathroom areas. The fire is under investigation and was initially determined to be suspicious in nature.
