Dubuque County is no longer under a burn ban. The legal burning of trash, farmland, pastures and other rural areas is again allowed. The ban was lifted Monday afternoon by proclamation of the Iowa State Fire Marshal. Fire chiefs will continue to monitor conditions as we are still considered to have drought conditions throughout the county.
