Dubuque County Conservation is seeking volunteers for a cleanup effort of Dubuque County watersheds. According to a press release the Dubuque County Watershed Clean Up will be held beginning at 9 a.m. on June 7 at several locations. The event is organized by National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium, Dubuque County Conservation and Dubuque Metropolitan Area Solid Waste Agency. Organizers will provide limited supplies of gloves, bags, trash grabbers and vests when needed. Volunteers will focus the watershed cleanup on public land along the creeks and rivers in the county.
