Renovation work to the Delaware County Courthouse has led to temporary closure of the building's parking lot. A news release states that the closure is effective throughout the duration of the renovation project. The Delaware County Board of Supervisors has contracted with Merit Construction, of Cedar Rapids, to construct a 13,500-square-foot addition to the courthouse and renovate areas of the existing structure. Parking along the west side of the courthouse is available to access courthouse offices, and alternative accessible parking is being provided.
