There will be a Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, April 25th from 1:30-5:30pm at St. John the Evangelist Church in Placid. This blood drive is held in honor and memory of Linda Boffeli. Appointments are encouraged online at redcrossblood.org, and search sponsor code Boffeli

The 2nd annual Tri-State Raceway car show will take place on Saturday, April 26th from 11am-3pm at Tri-State Raceway in Earlville. All vehicles are welcome, if you think it's cool, bring it and show it off. Car entries are $10, or a canned good for the local food bank. Admission is free for the public to come and check out all the vehicles on display. A free lunch will be available from noon-2pm, with awards given out at 2:30 to the best 3 vehicles voted on by the public. Be sure to check out Tri-State Raceway on Facebook.

Enjoy another movie at the library on Saturday, April 26th. The movie “The Public” Rated PG-13 will be shown at 1pm at the JKPL in Dyersville. This movie is intended for teens and adults. There will also be a special game night at the library on Saturday, April 26th from 4-6pm. Bring your favorite board game, card game, or video game and enjoy it with others. All ages are welcome, but those under 7 need a teen or adult companion.

The 2025 Camp Courageous Omelette breakfast and open house will be held on Sunday, April 27th from 8-noon at Camp Courageous in Monticello. Kids can also visit and pet the animals in the nature center, and the multi purpose field will be open for fun. Also, guided tours of the Camp Courageous facilities will be available. Come enjoy a fun night of line dancing for a great cause. Line dance with a mission will take place on Monday, April 28th from 6-8pm at the Dubuque Co. Fairgrounds. Cost is a $10 cover charge, with proceeds to benefit the Dubuque Rescue Mission. This is fun for the whole family, all ages are welcome.

The Knights of Columbus will sponsor a Dyersville community blood drive on Tuesday,
April 29th from noon-5:30pm at the KC Hall in Dyersville. Appointments are encouraged by contacting Shirley at 875-6015, or online at redcrossblood.org, and search sponsor code DyersvilleIA. Walk ins are also welcome.

Get your child signed up for St. Mark Heroes Summer Camp, now registering for summer 2025! Campus locations in Dyersville and Dubuque. This is open to all area kids entering grades K-5. Be sure to register by the end of the month!
