The Manchester Knights of Columbus welcomes you and your family to their breakfast on Sunday, January 19th from 8-10:30am at St. Mary's Parish Center in Manchester. Proceeds will benefit life programs.

The Earlville Community Club will sponsor a bingo night on Monday, January 20th beginning at 6pm at the Earlville Community Center. Cash Prizes and door prizes will be given away.

Peosta Elementary is looking for gently used snow pants for kids ages 1st grade thru 4th grade. The school uses those snow pants for kids in need, and when students forget theirs.

Women, Land and Legacy of Delaware and Dubuque Counties welcomes you to a free Beginning Farmer Workshop on Thursday, January 23rd beginning at 5:30pm at O So Good Winery in Dyersville. Many speakers and presentations will take place. Come hear and learn about the many resources available for new and upcoming agricultural producers, plus valuable information on operating loans, farm loans, programs and so much more. The James Kennedy Public library has many different events and programs all winter long for all ages, including their Friday afternoon games like, cards, dominoes and more. Feel free to bring your own games too, while socializing with friends. This is held every Friday from 1-3:30pm. The James Kennedy Public Library welcomes all older adults older to take part in strength training during the winter season. This strength training and exercise program is made possible by a partnership between the Geri-Fit Company and the JKPL. Participants will exercise to a Geri-Fit DVD, and most of the strength exercises are performed seated in a chair, and there is no dancing or aerobics involved. Classes are held on Monday's and Thursday's and last approximately 45 minutes. Each participant will need a set of 2 or 3 pound dumbbell weights, a medium weight stretch band, and water to drink. Registration is required by contacting the James Kennedy Public Library at 875-8912, also at their website dyersville.lib.ia.us, or on Facebook. Come play some bingo at the JKPL on Monday, January 20th from 1-3pm. Bingo is free, and prizes will be given away. And coming up soon, the Friends of the Library will be sponsoring their used book sale in the basement of the JKPL. This will run Friday, January 24th from 9-5, Saturday the 25th from 9-3, Sunday the 26th from 1-4pm, and on Monday, January 27th from 9am-6pm.

The Hartwick Huskie's water ski team welcomes you and your family to their winter beach party on Saturday, January 25th from noon-3pm at Lost Beach, Lake Delhi. This is fun for all ages. Come out and support the Hartwick Huskies.

A LifeServe blood drive will take place on Tuesday, January 28th from noon-5pm at Regional Medical Center in Manchester. This blood drive will be held in the Veterans Education Center, level 3 of RMC. Appointments are encouraged, but walk ins are also welcome.
