Looking for a fun and free way to spend an afternoon with the family? The Ignite Center in Dyersville is open every Saturday from 1-4pm during the winter offering free games and activities for the whole family. The Ignite Center is located in Stone Creek Shopping Center in Dyersville.
The Cascade Sportsmen's Club welcomes you to their 77th annual fish fry on Friday, March 6th serving from 5:30-8:30pm at the Cascade American Legion. Enjoy fish with all the fixins, plus a huge raffle. Tickets are available at Pat's 76 Station and Kerp's Service Center in Cascade, also at M-Town in Monticello.
The 68th annual Delaware County Dairy Banquet takes place on Saturday, March 7th at the fairgrounds pavilion in Manchester. Enjoy a steak sandwich meal grilled by the Del. Co. Cattlemen, with sides by Salow's Sweet & Savory. The drive thru meals will be served from 5-6:30pm, with the doors opening at 6:30pm. A program will begin at 8pm, and the night will also feature a live and silent auctioin. Tickets must be purchased in advance at Community Savings Bank in Manchester and Earlville, also Fidelity Bank in Dyersville or from any board member.
The Worthington Memorial Hall will have live music from Tyler Richton and the High Bank Boys on Saturday, March 7th. Admission is $15 per person. Doors open at 6pm, with the music starting at 7pm.
The Sons of The American Legion welcome you to their annual steak fry on Saturday, March 7th at the Epworth American Legion Post 650. Doors will open at 3pm, with the steak dinner served from 4-8pm, with all the fixins. Cost is $30.
The Delhi-Hopkinton Knights of Columbus Council 12695 welcomes you and your family to their winter breakfast on Sunday, March 8th serving from 7:30-11:30am at the Hopkinton Community Center. Carryouts will also be available.
The Midwest Pride in Your Ride truck and tractor show will have an entry in the Dyersville St. Patrick's Parade coming up on Saturday, March 14th. They are looking for cancer survivors to ride on their float. There will be seating for survivors on the float. They are asking anyone interested in riding to contact Diann Carpenter at 563-920-8526. They would like cancer survivors to contact them by Friday, March 7th.
