Charges have been dismissed against a Manchester man who was accused of inappropriately touching a child younger than 15. Iowa District Associate Judge Stephanie Rattenborg recently dismissed the charges against 40-year-old Alvin Harrison of Manchester, in Iowa District Court of Delaware County. Harrison had been charged with indecent contact with a child and lascivious acts with a child-solicitation in connection with a 2023 incident in which court documents state he was accused of inappropriately touching a child at a Delaware County residence. Prosecutors moved that the charges be dismissed with prejudice “in the interest of justice.”
