A Central City man was hospitalized after a recent motorcycle crash. According to a crash report from the Delaware County Sheriff's Department, 20-year-old Jaric Brandenburg was riding his motorcycle westbound on Franklin Street in Delhi October 18 around 11 AM. As Brandenburg approached Highway 38, he lost control of the motorcycle and crashed. A third party called in a report of a motorcycle crash with a head injury. Brandenburg was brought by a private party to Regional Medical Center before a deputy and ambulance arrived. Brandenburg was then transported to Iowa City for treatment of the head injury. The report says Brandenburg has no recollection of the crash and there were no witnesses. The crash remains under investigation.
