A Center Point man was injured in a motorcycle crash in Center Point Saturday night. A press release from the Linn County Sheriff’s says deputies and emergency crews responded just before 9:30 to the crash at Franklin Street and North Center Point Road in Center Point. The reports says that 40-year-old Richard Ortega of Center Point, had crashed his motorcycle and was taken by Center Point Ambulance to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Ortega was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The crash remains under investigation by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
