A class including a State champion, dominant performers, and a coaching institution will enter the Cascade High School Athletic Hall of Fame this fall. Joining the Hall of Fame as the Class of 2026 are Joe Callahan ’82, Chelsea Goedken ’04, Ginny Horsfield, and Nate Schmidt ‘02. They will be formally inducted during a ceremony at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Cascade on Saturday, September 26. The inductees will also be invited to participate in various events during that weekend’s Homecoming festivities, including participating in a community pep rally, riding in the Homecoming parade, and being recognized at the Cougar football game against Northeast. Nominations for the Class of 2027 are currently being taken through the end of calendar year 2026.
