The Black Hawk County Sheriff’s office evacuated a neighborhood in Dunkerton Sunday due to threats. Officials stated in a social media post, that someone was inside a home who had made threats to people, including officers. The department says it evacuated the area out of an abundance of caution. The post said to the best of their knowledge, no one else was in the house at that time. A later post says the standoff had been resolved.
