Argument in Vehicle Leads to Crash and Two Arrests

An altercation in a vehicle caused an injury crash near Dyersville, leading to two arrests. The Telegraph Herald reports that 35-year-old Brent Lipinski of Franklin Wisconsin was driving east on U.S. 20 near Dyersville at approximately 3:05 a.m. Sunday was engaged in an argument with front seat passenger, 20-year-old Destiny Forshee of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. During the argument, Forshee intentionally grabbed the steering wheel and pulled it to the right. Lipinski attempted to correct the vehicle’s steering, but it crashed into a ditch and rolled onto its side. Both Lipinski and Forshee were found to be intoxicated at the time of the crash. A 6-month-old child was transported by ambulance to MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center for evaluation but was determined to be uninjured. Lipinski was arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated and child endangerment. Forshee was arrested on charges of domestic assault with injury, child endangerment and possession of alcohol by a person ages 18-20.
