The James Kennedy Public Library in Dyersville welcomes all older teens and adults to another euchre card party on Friday, July 3rd beginning at 1pm.
Celebrate our nations 250th Anniversary at the July 3rd Celebration in Dyersville on Friday, July 3rd at Commercial Club Park. Gates open at 4pm with kids games, bounce houses and activities, plus live music with the Detour Band. Feel free to put down your blankets too. There'll be plenty of food and refreshments, and of course the best fireworks display around starting at dusk, synchronized to music right here on 99-3 KDST.
The Earlville Community Club welcomes you and your family to their 4th of July Celebration. The 5k fun run and walk and little firecracker dash will kick off the morning. Registration will be from 7:45-8:15am at Conrad City Park. The little firecracker dash for ages 7 and under will be at 8:30am, with the fun run and walk at 9am. The day will also feature disc golf, a bean bag tournament, a car, motorcycle, and tractor show from noon-3pm, pickleball, and parade at 4pm. The evening activities begin at 5pm at the Earlville ball diamond. There'll be fun and games for the kids, bingo, live music and more, and of course the big fireworks display at dusk. The Cascade Lion's Club welcomes you and your family to celebrate the 4th of July in Cascade. The morning begins with the American Legion 4th of July 2.5 mile run beginning at 7:30am from the American Legion Memorial Cannon. The big parade will begin at 2pm. Parade line up begins at 1pm along Highway 151 starting at Merritt Chiropractic. After the parade, head to Legion Park for lots of family fun. There'll be kids games, bounce houses, and activities, live music all night with Sarah Boyle from 4-5pm, then Clara Lynch, followed by Doug and Lisa Frey, and then The Swamp Jewels from beginning at 7pm. The Cascade All Star Dance Team performs at 9:45pm, followed by the big fireworks display at dusk. Plenty of food and refreshments all night long.
Celebrate the 4th of July in Monticello. Start the day with the Monticello Firemen's breakfast served from 6:30-10:30am at the Berndes Center at the fairgrounds. The day will feature lots of kids games and fun, with the big parade at 11am, food, refreshments, music and more, ending with the big fireworks display at dusk.
Spend the 4th of July in Manchester with their Red, White, and You Celebration July 4th at Tirrill Park in Manchester. The morning begins with free yoga in the park from 8-9am, plus free water aerobics. The kiddie parade begins at 11am, plus kids games and activities. The presentation of colors will be at 11:30am, followed by the Manchester Commuity Band. The day will also feature a huge slip n slide, karaoke contest at 12:30, food trucks, ice cream and more. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the day. The free family swim will be from 1-5pm at the aquatic center.
Come meet with friends and neighbors on Tuesday mornings in Earlville. The social gatherings take place every Tuesday beginning at 8am at the Earlville Community Center. There will be games, puzzles, cards, and more, plus coffee and snacks.
The Dyersville Area Farmer's Market takes place every Thursday afternoon from 3-5pm at Commercial Club Park in Dyersville. Fresh produce, baked goods, and vendors all on hand. Also, the Manchester Area Farmer's Market every Saturday morning from 7:30-11am, along River Street, behind Bushel and A Peck.
