Curbside leaf pickup days have been set for Dyersville. The City of Dyersville says Kluesner Sanitation will collect leaves and yard waste along with regular garbage on October 30, November 6, and November 13. On resident's regular garbage day, crews will pick up leaves, flowers, bushes, twigs, and branches at your normal garbage spot. Items out by 7:00 a.m. in secured Biodegradable PAPER bags or open-top cardboard boxes. No plastic bags or closed containers are accepted. Bundles of twigs/branches must be tied, no longer than 3 feet, and weigh 40 lbs or less. Empty containers, except cardboard boxes you’ve marked for the collector to keep, will be left at the curb. You can also drop off yard waste at the compost site at the end of 23rd Avenue SE, near the wastewater treatment facility. The bin is open 7 days a week for Dyersville residents.
