Regional Medical Center has announced its new chief executive officer. According to a news release, Glen Winekauf will become CEO of the hospital in early 2027. Winekauf will succeed Danette Kramer, who is retiring in December. The release states that Winekauf has more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience. He currently serves as CEO of Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove, Iowa, a position he has held since 2017. Kramer joined the Manchester hospital in 1996. She served as business manager beginning in 1999 and was appointed chief financial officer in 2000 — a position she held for 21 years. Kramer was named CEO in 2021.
