A Springville man was seriously injured in a farm accident Thursday. According to a news release from the Linn County Sheriff’s Department, at about 1:20 Thursday afternoon, Deputies along emergency crews and Lifeguard Air Ambulance responded to a farm accident with injuries at 511 Dubuque Road in rural Springville. The release states first responders found 67-year-old Joe Gillmore pinned between the loader arms of a skid steer and its cab. They were able to free Gillmore and provide aide until medical personnel arrived on scene. Gillmore was transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals with serious injuries by Lifeguard Air Ambulance.
