A Springville man was injured after being struck by a car while riding an E-bike. According to a news release from the Linn County Sheriff's Department, deputies and emergency crews responded to Springville Road just before 8:30 Tuesday night for a reported personal injury accident. Kenneth Clemen of Springville, was riding an E-Bike northbound on Springville Road, near Bolton Manor Road, when he was struck by a vehicle driven by 60-year-old Kelly Schmidt, also of Springville. Clemen was transported to a local hospital by Anamosa Ambulance for what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. The accident remains under investigation by the Linn County Sheriff's Office.
