Iowa State Extension is seeking organizations to exhibit at the Northeast Iowa Family STEM Festival is hosting the Northeast Iowa Family STEM Festival in Monticello. The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) event will be held on Thursday, October 8, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Youth Development Center in Monticello. This is the first time the festival will be held in Monticello. A news release says the festival’s mission is to promote, inspire, and engage youth in STEM activities while introducing PreK-8 children and parents to exciting STEM career opportunities. Exhibitor registration is free and they ask that exhibitors provide a hands-on STEM activity for PK-8 youth and families to enjoy. Exhibitors must register by September 30.
