An Anamosa man was injured when his truck rolled over his leg early this morning. According to a news release from the Linn County Sheriff's Office at 1:40 AM, Linn County Deputies and emergency crews responded to a personal injury accident on Highway 13 in Central City. The release states that 57-year-old Jeffery Heims of Anamosa, was driving a truck pulling a camper when he stopped at West Maple Street and exited his truck to check the lights on the camper. Heims had failed to put the truck in park and the truck rolled over his left leg. Heims was transported to a local hospital by Center Point Ambulance for what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. A passenger in the truck was not injured. The accident remains under investigation by the Linn County Sheriff's Office.
