Residents of Eastern Iowa are cleaning up after strong thunderstorms moved through the area this morning. Sustained high winds were reported in Delaware and Dubuque counties, leading to tree damage, damage to buildings and power outages. Gusts of 80 mph were reported in Farley with high wind reports in Independence, Dyersville, and Dubuque. A shed was flattened in New Vienna and another damaged North of Earville. Around 650 customers were without power as of 10 a.m. Tuesday in Delaware County and over 900 in Dubuque County.
