A Monticello man was cited after a two-vehicle accident in Linn County. On Tuesday at about 3:50 PM, Linn County Sheriff Deputies and emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle accident with minor injuries at Troy Mills Road and Central City Road. A news release from the sheriff's department states A Ford F-250 driven by 22-year-old Gage Sharp of Monticello rear ended a Chevrolet Silverado driven by 44-year-old Michael Hogan of Strawberry Point. The report says Sharp was traveling east bound on Central City Road and was following too close when he struck Hogan, causing minor damage to both vehicles. Gage was transported to St. Lukes Hospital by Ambulance for what are believed to be minor injuries. Hogan was evaluated by Alburnett Fire and refused medical treatment.
