The boys state soccer tournaments begin today with quarterfinal games at regional sites. 4A is being played at West Des Moines Valley, 3A quarterfinals take place at Indianola, 2A games will be played at Gilbert, and the 1A games are being hosted at Mediacom Stadium in Des Moines. Semifinal and Championship games in all classes will be played at Mediacom Stadium, with the 3A and 4A semifinals on Wednesday, 1A and 2A games on Thursday, then the four title games scheduled for Friday.
High school softball continues tonight on KDST with Beckman Catholic hosting Cascade for a double header. Game one begins at 5 PM. Here are other varsity softball and baseball games scheduled for today;

The NBA Finals begin Wednesday as San Antonio hosts New York. This is the first finals appearance for the Knicks since 1999, while the Spurs were last in the championship round in 2014.
The NHL Stanley Cup finals begin this week. Game 1 is Tuesday at Carolina as the Hurricanes host Vegas.
