A Guttenberg man was arrested on a warrant Friday after his vehicle was reported as a hazzard. According to a press release from the Garnavillo Police Department, at about 12:45 p.m., a Garnavillo police officer stopped to check on a vehicle parked on the roadway after Clayton County dispatch received calls from passerby’s reported it being a hazard on the roadway. After identifying the driver, as 62-year-old Michael Peck of Guttenberg, the oficer learned that an arrest warrant had just been filed through Clayton County for Peck for failure to appear. Peck was arrested and transported to the Clayton County Jail for the active warrant.
