A Dubuque man faces several charges, including child endangerment, after a pursuit in rural Ogle County Illinois. According to the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched at approximately 2:20 AM Friday to a reported disturbance in rural Rochelle. The suspect, identified as 40-year-old Christopher Escutia-Rangel, attempted to flee from law enforcement. A pursuit began, involving Ogle County deputies and officers from the Rochelle Police Department. Once officers managed to stop Escutia-Rangel, they determined he was drving the vehicle under the influence with a child present in the vehicle. Following his arrest, Escutia-Rangel was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he is being held pending a court appearance on several felony and misdemeanor charges, including domestic battery and child endangerment.
