The Dyersville Area Chamber of Commerce named it's Woman of the Year at the annual Women's Night event, held Wednesday night. The award went to Darlene Frasher of Worthington. Darlene was recognized for impact on the lives of local veterans through her work with Benefit the Vets, a non-profit she helped establish with her family in 2018. Darlene plays a key role in organizing, fundraising and promoting the annual event. The award is presented annually to a woman “whose qualities have enhanced the quality of life for residents and communities” in Dyersville, Earlville, Farley, Luxemburg, New Vienna, Petersburg and Worthington.
