Men’s basketball coach Ben Jacobson is leaving Northern Iowa. Jacobson, who won 397 games in 20 years with the Panthers, has signed a five-year contract with Utah State. He took UNI to the NCAA Tournament five times, including a Sweet 16 run in 2010. This season, he helped the team return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 10 years.
