An Anamosa man was arested after he threatened another man with a weapon in Delaware County. Court document state that 32-year old Dexter Tjaden arrived at a residence on 260th Street in rural Delhi and was asked to leave by the victim. Tjaden complied but returned “a few minutes later” and forced his way into the residence. During an altercation, Tjaden dropped a black handgun onto the exterior deck, retrieved the handgun and produced a knife, and threatened the victim. Tjaden left the residence and was located a “short time later” by law enforcement. Tjaden was arrested Tuesday on charges of first-degree burglary and assault while displaying a dangerous weapon.
