Dubuque Man Faces Charges after Driving Wrong Way on Wisconsin Highway

A Dubuque man faces charges after he drove the wrong way on a Wisconsin highway. A press release states at about 6 p.m.,74-year-old Michael Ede was driving north in the southbound lanes of the highway 61/151. Other drivers were able to get Ede’s vehicle to stop in the median. Dubuque police and a Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Department deputy responded until a Grant County deputy could arrive. According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, Ede was arrested on a charge of third-offense operating while intoxicated and operating the wrong way on a divided highway.
